Description
Tranquil and private, this pet friendly two-bedroom cottage is on a small acre property with exclusive use of the tennis court all within 2.5km from the heart of Byron Bay. With easy access into town and only a 5 minute stroll to the iconic Roadhouse Cafe the cottage is conveniently close to beaches and a beautiful swimming lake. Enjoy relaxing on the deck under the mango tree, swinging in the hanging chair, lounging in the private gardens and soaking under the stars in the outdoor bath. The space Charming, stylish, fully fenced and comfortable with a tropical outlook and tennis court, this space is ideal for a couple or a small family, and is pet friendly. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms have wardrobe space and access to the bathroom. There is also a second outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off the sand and an outdoor bath to be enjoyed on starry evenings. All guests receive our fabulous welcome pack with wine and goodies. The open plan kitchenette, lounge, and dining area is light and bright with high ceilings and exposed beams. Well-equipped with a coffee machine, a combi oven/microwave, portable hotplate, electric frypan, sandwich press, kettle, toaster, blender, and a BBQ to whip up all the necessities for holiday eating. Other appliances include a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a full size fridge/freezer. Directly outside from the main living rooms are the outdoor covered dining area and the large peaceful gardens. The cottage is very private and a beautiful space to relax, ideally suited to a couple or a family with 2 children. We welcome furry four-legged family members, but they must be over 12 months of age, fully house trained, non-barkers, and have their own bedding and sleeping rugs. We ask that you clean up excess pet hair and remove all waste. Two beautiful dog friendly beaches are within a 5-10 minute drive from the cottage. *Please note the property has a maximum for one dog only.* The cottage has its own parking area and entrance, beautiful lawns and large gardens to the rear with a stunning tropical outlook. Multiple outdoor areas include a courtyard with sun loungers, a deck under the mango tree ideal for morning yoga, covered dining areas, and bench seating overlooking the gardens to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun while listening to the abundant birdsong. Guest access Access to the property is via a long driveway from a residential street. Driveway access is shared with the main house on the acreage block. The cottage is not within view from the street making this property quiet and extremely private, yet so close to town. Other things to note Discounts are available for longer bookings. Please enquire. Please note that wifi is a complimentary service and has no bearing on the tarrif charged. We have unlimited fast broadband, but as Byron Bay is a regional town without city infrastructure, there can be issues from time to time. If you are travelling for business, or need to work during your stay, we recommend bringing your own internet. The owner’s insurance does not cover tenant’s personal possessions.
