The 1 room apartment is located on the ground floor of a 2016 renovated old building multi-family house in the beautiful Cologne Lindenthal, just before the Cologne Belt, near the University Hospital. Despite the central location (bus to the city center and train to Ehrenfeld only a minute away), it is quiet in the apartment, as it is located in a rear building. The apartment - formerly part of a carpentry that was renovated into an apartment - impresses with its old-building charm, in combination with a stylish, high-quality furnishings. The space The apartment has a sleeping gallery with 1.60 m wide, very cozy queen size mattress for 2 people and additionally a sofa bed in the living room for a third person (width 1.08, length 1.85 m - therefore not suitable for two adults). In addition to the sleeping gallery and the living area with sofa bed, there is a fully equipped kitchen (including Smeg fridge), a dining area with dining table (and four chairs) and a shower/toilet. The apartment is not large with 28sqm, but increases in size due to the sleeping gallery. The apartment is extended by a 5sqm small terrace in front of the door. Really perfect is the combination of central location (both the train/line 13 direction Ehrenfeld, as well as the bus/line 146 to the city center are only a minute's walk away) and tranquility through the rear building location. All shops of daily necessities, as well as nice restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. A kiosk is just 50 metres away. The University Hospital is a 5-10-minute walk away, or a 2-minute bus ride away, which leaves directly opposite. In one of the two parks (Stadtwald or Beethovenpark) it is also only a 10-minute walk. We have a Smartlock lock, so it can be checked in independently with a code. Please note: -We rent the apartment including WiFi -The sleeping gallery is only accessible via a ladder and not secured to the extent that it would be suitable for small children -The shower has been planned by our architect "open", i.e. it is located without extra door in the rear area of the apartment (see photos). Toilet and sink are of course behind a lockable door! -The apartment only has a tilting window/door facing outwards. The sleeping gallery and the bathroom do not have their own windows.
