Stay in this traditional 17th Century cottage, listen to the relaxing stream from your bedroom window before you enjoy all the jaw dropping scenery when you step out of the front door. Situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Castleton, right next to the stream and enjoying a superb location near the 6 local pubs and numerous cafes. Your double room, with en-suite shower room, lounge and kitchenette are self contained. Walk out of the door and be on a footpath within minutes. The space Completely self contained, all of the indoor space is just for you. You have a double bedroom room with en-suite shower room. Your own lounge and kitchenette, all accessed from your own entrance, not even the stairs are shared. The kitchenette has a double hob, microwave, toaster, fridge, slow cooker and a kettle (sorry not an oven) Walk out of the door and be on a footpath within minutes. This is a beautiful self contained space in our home. Your cottage is half of our home, which is completely seperate to ours, with no indoor shared areas. You may pass us in the garden as that is how we access our side of the home, we will respect your space should we pass in the garden. Our garden has a high wall for privacy, you are welcome to use the outdoor table and chairs in good weather. Guest access Own entrance into your kitchenette, leads to your lounge, your own stairs up to your bedroom and en-suite shower room This is all self contained, so no indoor contact with host No other guests in the property Other things to note This is a beautiful 17th century cottage, which does come with low ceilings - take care if you are tall. Local information available - also within a 2 minute walk from Castleton Visitors Centre Well behaved dogs are welcomed. Our garden is fully enclosed so feels good for most dogs The cottage is situated next to the beautiful stream that you can see on the picture. So there is no direct vehicle access or parking. We park around 70 yards away on a quiet street, that goes to a dead end, so isn’t used by lots of vehicles. 95% if the time we get a parking space there, occasionally we need to help people find a spot in the village
