This is a perfectly located 65sqm apartment with beautiful views to the Parlament and to the Castle district. The 1930s building is located in historical 1. district in a quite street just a few steps from the M2 subway, buses, boats, cafes, bank, food store, churches. FREE WIFI! NOTE: 4th floor and NO LIFT !!! NO SMOKING allowed in the flat!!!!!! Free parking along the Danube which is 5 minutes walk to the apartment! Front of the apartment you must pay Mon-Fri 8.00-22.00, costs 1.60 Euro/hour! The space This penthouse apartment has stunning views to the Parlament House and to the Castle district, beautifully designed with classical elements of opern world. My apartment is nice, quite and peacfull to make sure you really switch off from the running world and can enjoy your holiday! The apartment is situated in the well groomed 1st district, walking distance only 2 minutes to the M2 subway and Batthyány Square, 10 minutes walk up on the stairs to the Castle district, 30 minutes walk to Margaret Island, 15 minutes walk to the Király bath. Newly, FREE WIFI is provided in the flat!!! Around the corner you will find cafe shops with WIFI, restaurants, organic store, antique shop, bank, grocery stores. The apartment is fully equipped, with dishwasher, gas stove, water cattle, microwave, hair dryer, washing mashine, satellite TV, cd player. The flat is located in well groomed building on the top 4th (to keep you fit!!!) floor with security gate. NO pet or smoking is allowed in the apartment, so please use balcony if you are a smoker! After a fine breakfast in the apartment or in one of the cozy cafe's in the neighbourhood, you could explore the wonderful Buda side and walk up to the Castle District, where you will find the Fisherman's Bastion, the Buda Castle and the Matthew Church. These are Budapest's best-known landmarks, and its favourite tourist destination. Built in the Romanesque Revival style, the Bastion's terraces offer a stunning view of Budapest. The Danube and the Parliament building can perhaps be seen at their finest from the vantage point of the Fisherman's Bastion. To relax, it is only 500 meters walking distance from my apartment the Király (King) thermal bath (under renovations at the moment!!!!!! ) It is one of the oldest thermal bath in Budapest, along with Rudas bath. The medieval Turkish baths were built by the Ottoman Turks in the 16th century. Király Bath is not so known as Rudas Bath, Gellért Bath or Széchenyi Bath. This hidden treasure is worth a visit and it is not so crowded as the well known bath houses. You will love to visit this historical place with its special atmosphere, you will surely enjoy to travel back to the Medieval times, where instead of Hungarian kings, Turkish pashas ruled the Buda Castle, and used the geothermal spring waters under the Buda Hills to build their ritual bathes. (please note: in some bathes, swimming cup or shower cup is obligation!!!) 100 metres from the apartment you will find the Metro line 2 at Batthyány tér (see photo of the Metro map) from there you can go directly to the Pest side. There is so much to see and to enjoy at the Pest side as well. From the Batthany Square departs several sightseeing buses and boats too (see photos). For the ones who likes walk to the hill, you could have strol up to the Gellért mountain, where the Citadella area gives you probably the most wonderful view of Budapest. Well, if you made it till there and you have your swimming clothes with you, then you should visit the Gellért Bath. If you are not able to walk much or you are too tired, Budapest has a excelent public transport system. Just simple download this app "BKK Futar" with all the maps and routes! Guest access Guest access simlpy to the whole apartment! We will keep only the second bedroom closed, this is our ironing- and cleaning room ! It's only you who stay there, neither myself, nor other guests! Check in/out with code and lockbox system! Other things to note Satellite TV with german and english channels and FREE WIFI!!!
