The apartment is well-suited to 2 or 3 people & located in the very popular resort of Trou aux Biches. It is clean, light and airy, quiet and safe. The apartment building is self-contained in it's own walled garden & near to all amenities. The space Spotlessly clean, spacious, one-bedroom apartments on first floor. Wifi is available, free of charge in all apartments. Air conditioning is also available for a supplementary fee of 3 euros per night. We have proper showers with a decent flow of hot water - a rare treat in Mauritius. Because many houses don't have a water pump, most showers are nothing more than a weak trickle of tepid (technically cold) water! Also, our indoor furniture consists of cloth sofas and cane chairs in contrast to the plastic garden tables and chairs found elsewhere. Facilities include modern flat-screen TV, DVD, local cable TV - all included in (website hidden) facilities consist of a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas ring with assorted pans and dishes. Situated in a tranquil residential area, only 200m from a beach which is ideal for snorkelling, The public beach of Trou aux Biches is only 500m away and is perfect for swimming and water sports. Supermarkets and restaurants are within easy reach and the main bus route to Port Louis and Grand Baie is two minutes away on foot. We can either arrange hire cars/ bicycles/ scooters for you (no commission charged by us) or else we can put you in touch with the hire companies and you can do it yourself. We appeal especially to couples of all ages who are looking for a clean and comfortable place to rest their heads after a day out exploring the area.
