Berrydown Farm, a quiet Cornish moorland escape
Description
This recently refurbished Farmhouse has a mixture of the modern and the reclaimed. The dining table has a slate bench seat from the houses original larder and the back of then seat is from reclaimed floor boards. The house embraces its heritage showing of stone walls with all the comfort of a modern family home. the grounds are still a work in progress but the house has been finished to a high specification, has a glorious wood burner, and all you could want for an escape to the country The space The house is only a few minutes from the A30 but is splendidly situated at the top of Berrydown tor, giving you exceptional views of Cornwall. You will have loads of walks to choose from;Golitha falls and Cardinham woods, to exploring the surrounding moorlands. I would recommend a trip to the coast top if you are down for a while, I’ve included pictures of some of my favourite spots to visit! If you want to just stay in by the fire with a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet, I wouldn’t blame you. There are some games and a few books, alongside the TV and a Bose speaker for you to connect too. There is a lovely little pub in the village where you would receive a warm welcome, or for some finer cuisine I’d recommend a field trip to Padstow or Fowey where you will find plenty of great food options. There are horses on the farm so feel free to say hello but mind the electric fences and the horses teeth and hoofs! Guest access The fields immediately around the house are there for you to wander through! The Garden is still a work in progress!
