The space Set within 160 acres of Caplor Farm near Fownhope, Willow is an industrial-rustic glamping pod for two in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside. With its private wood-fired hot tub, securely fenced garden and distinctive live wood feature wall, it is an inviting retreat for couples seeking relaxation, privacy and a memorable Wye Valley escape. Inside, Willow has a cosy open-plan layout with a comfortable double bed and private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The well-equipped kitchenette includes a fridge-freezer, two-ring hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, giving you everything needed for relaxed breakfasts, light meals and evening treats. A Smart TV offers entertainment during quieter moments. Your private outdoor space is designed for slowing down. Step onto the decking, enjoy morning coffee in the garden or sink into the wood-fired hot tub after a day exploring the countryside. Outdoor seating and a barbecue and firepit are provided for alfresco dining and evenings beneath the stars. Path lighting and lights around the hot tub create a welcoming atmosphere after dark. The renowned Wye Valley Walk passes directly through Caplor Farm, so beautiful countryside walks begin on the doorstep. The River Wye is nearby, with Fownhope, traditional country pubs, picturesque villages and local attractions within easy reach. Free on-site parking is provided. Willow is pet-friendly and welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs. Dogs must be kept on leads around the wider working farm, not left unattended or allowed on soft furnishings, and owners are asked to clean up after them. The fully secure garden provides added reassurance when relaxing outside. There is no Wi-Fi in the pod, offering an opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It is an ideal couples' hideaway for restful days, scenic walks and cosy evenings together. Guest access Guest access to the glamping pods is on foot. We kindly ask that you don’t drive on the grass in front of the pods or block the lane to the left. Parking is available just behind the pods for your convenience. You’re very welcome to enjoy the farm and the surrounding acres of walks during your stay — it's free for all guests to use. For everyone’s safety, please don’t feed the horses (we know it’s tempting, but it can be harmful). We also ask that dogs are kept on leads and that you pick up after them. Please be mindful of our residents, the farm is their home - do not disturb them. If you’re bringing an electric vehicle, there is a Rolec 7kW 32amp EV charger located in the hard-standing car park just behind the pods. There is a fee to use it. We’re always mindful of giving our guests space to relax and enjoy their stay, so please don’t be offended if we quietly leave you to it. Other things to note 🔥 Hot Tub Heating & Firewood Our hot tubs are wood-fired, so heating is an optional extra and is not included in the accommodation price. You can choose from: • £10 – DIY Heating: Includes one pack of approved firewood for you to heat the hot tub yourself. • £30 – Ready on Arrival: Our team will fill, prepare and heat the hot tub for you, ready to enjoy around your arrival time. This includes the required firewood and approximately 3 hours of staff time. Additional firewood packs are £10 each if required during your stay. We keep these charges separate so guests who do not wish to use the hot tub are not paying towards its heating costs. Please arrange and pay for hot tub heating in advance, as our team finishes at 4pm and we cannot guarantee last-minute requests.
