Flat country/lakes and hilly area

Located in the countryside among the green hills of Valcuvia, a few kilometers from Lake Maggiore, staying in a comfortable environment. The space I am happy to welcome you in this comfortable apartment in country-hilly zone at 10 km from the Lake Maggiore and situated behind the regional park of Campo dei Fiori. Of about 90 square meters, the flat is fully furnished and also equipped with air conditioning, washing machine, television and dvd. It’s composed of: living room / kitchen, bedroom with double bed and sofa bed, bathroom. Possibility of using another bedroom with three beds and a second bathroom. You only need to bring sheets and towels but, if you have to limit your luggage, and if you notice me in advance, I can provide the necessary with a small extra charge. Prices are "all inclusive" (electricity, water etc). A free Parking area is located outside the building. We welcome your small pets. For any needs you may find nearby food store with bakery (50 m), bar and restaurants (200 m) and shopping centre (2 km). Location is an easy drive away from Switzerland. Ideal for stays among the hills of the Prealps of Varese, this house will give you the opportunity to explore the surroundings easily with plenty of walking; close, you can find the untouched nature of the regional park of Campo dei Fiori (1200 m altitude) and alongside the picturesque route of the Holy Mountain, with its 15 chapels representing the Nativity, topped by the baroque Sanctuary, protected by the UNESCO, dedicated to Our Lady of Mount; There are numerous walks possible in the area: countryside, hills and lake. At less than 3 km, you can also visit a riding stables and, if you like, you can do horseback riding. If you are interested to explore the region, the apartment as well as being in a small, quiet and sunny village, is conveniently located in a strategic position: It’s close to many important cities (Milano 1h, Varese 30 min, Switzerland 20 min). From the near city of Laveno it’s easy to take the ferry-boats that brings you to all the most important cities on the Lake Maggiore (Stresa, Verbania, Pallanza), doing the beautiful tour of the famous Borromeo islands and visiting the numerous hikes in the beautiful locations surrounding the second biggest lake in Italy. The Cableway of the Lake Maggiore takes you on the top of the Sasso di Ferro mountain (1050 mt.) from where you can admire the majestic panorama of the Region of the Lakes and the Alps. At around 15 km you may found the Lake Monate (one of the cleanest fresh water lakes in Europe so perfect for swimming) and the beautiful Lake of Varese. In addition the Lake Lugano and the Lake Como are the destination for other unavoidable daily trips destinations. It is possible to agree the use of bicycles. We can offer you the possibility of spending some days or also some weeks plenty of tour and relaxation. Lake Maggiore, reachable also by bus or train (10 km); Varese (20 km) reachable either by train and bus; Milano (70 km) reachable by train or driving along the A8 motorway; Lugano (33 km) reachable by bus and train; However travelling by car is suggested.
