Double En-Suite Bedroom in Shaw, Oldham

Light and spacious en-suite room in a self catering house share near Shaw High Street. Supermarkets, shops and cafes are walkable. Metrolink station with a direct tram to Manchester Victoria is 10 minutes walk. Suitable for travellers, young professionals and PLAB 2 Doctors. You need to be ok with sharing with 2/3 others and ok with steep stairs. ***No Smoking Inside, No Smoking Outside, No Smokers, no cars*** (Smokers refused at check in as host is asthmatic) The space The kitchen and bathroom are communal spaces and we ask that you be mindful of the other guests and keep all personal items in your private room. As it is a shared house, hosts cannot be responsible for items that go missing from communal areas. In the kitchen you will have one shelf in the fridge, one drawer in the freezer and one cupboard for food and they are clearly labelled with your room number. Please keep your food to your cupboard/shelf and drawer. Basic cooking is allowed - it's the place to make jam and toast or a sandwich, not really the place to cook a full curry from scratch! Basic internet is available on communal spaces with extenders to boost signal to bedrooms. There is also a communal lounge with Smart TV and Netflix and a communal dining room (please use your own accounts and any required licenses for the television and remember to log out when you leave). We do not have TV's in the bedrooms. Guest access Feel free to use the WIFI, laundry facilities and shared social areas. Make yourself at home! Please remember that is a house share and not serviced accommodation so please buy what you need to use e.g. bin bags, washing up liquid, toiletries, washing powder or tablets. Unfortunately there is no parking available at this property. It is unsuitable for guests with cars and there is no on street parking allowed in the area (other than for those with resident permits). However, it is walkable from the Metrolink (Shaw and Crompton). During your stay We will be available by phone and remotely. We will drop by every now and again to check that you have everything you need as we often work away. Other things to note Initial check in is with host (in person or remote) and then a key code is provided to give you access to the house thereafter. There are keypad locks on bedrooms and there are security cameras on the main doors and in communal areas for your security. Check-in time is from 2pm-8pm and check-out time is 10am. If you miss the check in window please call Air BnB or arrange a hotel with 24 hour check in and come again at check in times the following day. Heating Temperature 18-20 C daytime (heats to 20 degrees from 7-10am and again from 5-10pm) and 18 C at night time. If you are still particularly cold extra blankets can be provided. Your cleaning and linen fee provides you with cleaning for your check in and another clean on check out plus one set of linen and one towel. If you require additional cleaning or linen during your stay this can be provided at an extra charge. This is a quiet residential area and therefore have a strict policy of No parties/events allowed on the premises. No visitors, additional guests or third party bookings. Also, Please keep noise level down after 9pm.
