Murrami Cottage Great Aussie B&B

We have a comfortable country cottage 3 beds 1 queen 2 single 1 single completly self contained beautiful views over the mountains very quiet and peaceful setting with lovely walks bike riding and just relaxing. The space Fully self contained, 3 bedroom house. Lounge has comfortable seating, TV with DVD and sound system. Slow combustion fire, wood supplied. 2 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom, all linen supplied. Kitchen has everything you could need, including dishwasher & microwave. Good bathroom, with a bath and a shower. Separate laundry, with washing machine. Comfortable reading room, with books and magazine's, to while away a lazy day. You have three choices of area's to eat. The dinning room, front verandah and a courtyard , which has a gas BBQ. Beautiful views and spectacular sunsets. Under cover parking for 2 cars. The kitchen,dinning room and the lounge are open plan, so you can all sit around and watch the cook, whipping up a culinary delight. . . Or you may fancy a BBQ, which we have on the patio. If you feel like having a lazy day, there are heaps of things to do. You can watch TV, or a DVD, maybe listen to your favourite music, or there are cards and board games supplied. You could just sit on the front verandah and watch the changing scenery, sheep or cattle ambling around, or maybe a Kangaroo bounding past. The bird life is quite diverse, we have Parrot's, Cookatoo's, Owl's, Magpies, Pigeons, Kookaburra' s and Galah's. If you are feeling more adventurous, you could jump on our bike's of which we have 2 and take a ride around our beautiful 400 acres. Please keep to the fence line and make sure you close the gates behind you. Bathurst is just 18 kls. A good bike ride, or a short car trip. There is plenty to see and do. There are wonderful historic buildings, parks, river walks where you can feed the ducks, or just sit under the fantastic shade trees and have a picnic. There is a lot of great shopping and restaurants. If you are into cars and racing cars in particular, then do we have a treat for you. Mount Panorama is the toughest street circuit in the world, if you do not believe me, you are allowed to actually drive on it, outside race days and of course keeping to the speed limits. There is the big Bathurst 1000 in October and the 12 hour race on in Feburary. The view from the top of the track is spectacular. If you are into Gold, then we have some great gold mining towns, Hill End and Sofala, so come and try your luck. The first port of call on all you travels, is the local Information centre. If you are not sure how to get here, we are very happy to meet you there and guide you to our little slice of heaven. If you do not have a car, there is a train and bus service available and, we are happy to come in and pick you up and of course drive you back. Guest access You will have access to all the cottage amenities, there will be no shared areas and nothing is off limits,we only ask if you go through a closed gate you re-close it.
