Enjoy nature, tranquility and cozy Nijmegen

Enjoy the free outdoors and the coziness of the city to the fullest in our Vogeltjesbos. From here, you can endlessly walk through the forest and explore the surroundings, for example, towards the hills near Groesbeek. And by bike or bus (stop around the corner), you can easily reach the cozy center of Nijmegen, with nice eateries, shops and museums. We border on various hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes, such as the Walk of Wisdom: a pilgrimage route of 136 kilometers around Nijmegen. The space Our guest house Het Koolmeesje has a beautiful unobstructed view and everything you need. We hope you feel at home! The accommodation is attached to our house, has no private terrace, but around there is more (!) than enough space to relax, spot animals and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It is one room, with a separate shower and toilet. But in summer, it is also wonderful to shower outside under an oak tree. The sleeping area can be conveniently separated by a curtain. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a combination microwave, refrigerator and washing machine/dryer. The beds can be used as two single beds or as a double bed. All this is located in a 1.5 hectare food forest. Feel free to pick and taste! Besides this place, we have another guest house and a trailer that we rent out.
