The Potting Shed

Our converted milking parlour in the heart of the York plain is a unique one bed, self contained tiny house! With access to York and the surrounding area, it is a perfect place for a weekend away or a longer stay for business, retreat, escape. There is a bus that runs from just outside to York. They do not run at the weekends during winter and never on a Sunday. There is a train station 3 miles away. Parking is available on the road. There is a shop 2 minutes away. No pets or children. The space The Potting Shed is a loving conversion, bringing modern conveniences but retaining a vintage charm. We made the conversion in 2018 using as much of the original building and materials as possible. It is unique and extremely cosy, with fantastic natural light There is only one double bed Guest access The Potting Shed includes an outside area with a table and chairs for you to enjoy. The gardens are private property so we'd appreciate it if you didn't use them Other things to note There is a regular bus (412) to York that stops just outside. This bus runs mostly only hourly in the mornings to York and wetherby and there are none at the weekends. There is no TV.
