Barn conversion on sheep farm near to beaches
Description
A spacious and characteristic barn conversion which sleeps up to 8 guests. Set in the Taw Valley over looking Codden Hill, near to Barnstaple and the North Devon beaches. The cottage is set in a rural location, so very peaceful but only a mile off the Barnstaple to Exeter main road so easily accessible to the North Devon coastal areas and Exmoor National Park. The cottage lies in the courtyard of the main thatched farmhouse and is on a working sheep farm. The space Your cottages comprises of the kitchen with a range cooker and breakfast bar, there is a large living area with gas fire, a large main bedroom with ensuite , two bedrooms with 2 single beds in each, a downstairs double bedroom. The family bathroom has a whirlpool bath and shower over bath. Outside there is a large outdoor play area with a swing and trampoline and we also have a games room with ball pool, pool & ice hockey tables. The enclosed patio area has a table with chairs, parasol and BBQ. Parking is available for up to 3 cars. Guest access A few days prior to your arrival, we will provide you with detailed directions and the keycode for cottage access. The shared games room is available for your use at any time; keys will be located on the coat hangers in your cottage. We kindly request that you lock up after using the games room. The children's play area is also accessible to you. Should you wish to visit the lambs or ponies, please reach out to Maureen through Airbnb or via text message. Other things to note We provide hand and tea towels, bed linen, some cleaning products and a few toilet rolls. If you want bath towels we can provide these at an extra cost of £5 per set (a set of bath, medium and hand towel). If you are bringing pets please note there is a pet fee and that we are a working sheep farm so our dogs will be out and about and to avoid stressing your pets we do not accept them to be left alone in our cottages.
