Quiet, self contained rural annexe

Situated 2 miles from Barnstaple, nestled in a beautiful rural landscape. The annexe has a warm country feel to it and offers parking but is also a short walk to a regular bus service to Barnstaple and Lynmouth. The local pub (The New Inn) is 1 mile away in Goodleigh. The space The annex is self contained and has 1 bedroom with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. There is space in the bedroom for a travel cot if travelling with a baby (we are happy to provide a cot upon request). There is a small outside area with a table and chairs for you to sit and relax in. It is a great sun trap and ideal for bbq's and is not overlooked from the lane, providing you with complete privacy. The lounge has a TV, DVD player and futon, unfolding to make a second double bed. There is a curtain that can be pulled across the doorway to create a private bedroom if the futon is used as a bed. DVD's, books and games are also provided for cosy nights in or wet weather days! The bathroom consists of a shower, sink and toilet. We offer off road parking for 1 car and parking on the lane for an additional car. Guest access Guests can park on our driveway and will have access to the annexe and it's secluded outside area. There is also an outside tap ideal for washing dog paws or rinsing wetsuits! Wetsuits or other wet clothes can be hung to dry in an additional outbuilding upon request. Other things to note You will be greeted with a Devonshire cream tea, helping you to relax and unwind from your journey. I am a qualified kayak coach and mountain leader, I run a guiding business and so if you wanted to explore North Devon by kayak or foot, please let me know as I can book you in for a trip at an additional cost. We are able to provide a travel cot if you would like to have a bit more space in the car for bags and toys! Details of local walks are provided in a folder in the annexe, highlighting how dog friendly each one is. In addition to this we have listed a few great places to eat out at and we provide details on local attractions. We are happy to loan out ordnance survey maps of the various areas in North Devon and Cornwall (we will ask for a £20 deposit, refundable when the maps are returned)
