This is our much-loved home; set over 4 floors (3 flights of stairs). We are minutes walk from Kemptown, the beach, pier, and the lanes... Please Note: we have a cat, Lola, and we will need you to feed her during your stay. The space You'll find everything you need for a lovely stay. Our home is comfy, colourful & homely. It's a well used social space and the perfect place to stay for a short visit to Brighton. This is our busy family home which we live in. We leave it nice and clean and tidy for you just as you see in the photos, but if you look closely you'll find some corners/radiators/skirting boards which are not immaculate. If you're looking for a place to have a loud/crazy party we respectfully ask that you look elsewhere. Our lovely cat Lola will be with you during your stay. She'll be happy for cuddles but won't annoy you for them. She'll need feeding in the evening and morning please. Note that our other cat has now sadly passed away, so guests won't be dealing with her elderly behaviour anymore (i.e. there are no ammonia smells) as noted by Elaine (a guest who stayed here in May) who left our only bad review. Please also be aware that one of the sleeping areas is in one half of the lounge (see the photos). We've had an issue in the past with very young children breaking/messing up/accidentally pocketing our children's toys so, for that reason, we don't think it's a suitable place for very young children to stay unless they are supervised. Guest access We lock two rooms; the study on the 1st floor and the workshop/utility area in the basement. Note that our ironing board is attached to the wall in the study, so please contact us for access to this if you need it. Other things to note Please let us know if you need visitor parking permits (£5 per permit per day). We can provide a maximum of 4 permits which is enough for 2 cars. We need to order these so please tell us in advance. We leave the sofabed as a sofa to make the most of the lounge space on your arrival. If you'd like us to put it down into a bed before you arrive please let us know.
