The Japanese-style room is on the 2nd floor of the semi-new "Guest House Kizu". It is a 10-tatami (16.7 m2) tatami mat. A Japanese space with plenty of wood and paper, with a good view of the courtyard from the round window that opens the sliding door. The room has a low table, cushions, TV, and mini-fridge. The low table can also be used as a Japanese-style "kotatsu". There is a separate 2 tatami mat (3.3 m2) closet that contains 6 sets of futons (feather duvets and futons) and pillows. We ask guests to make the futon. Towels, bedding, extra pillows, hairdryer, washing machine, dryer, etc. are available free of charge. There is a front room at the entrance of the room where you can take off your slippers, and it also serves as a luggage storage area. There is a large shared living room on the 1st floor, which is also a place for guests to interact. The mini kitchen is for simple eating and drinking, such as cup noodles and coffee (self-catering is limited to one private building). The bath, 2 shower rooms, and 2 toilets are shared. There is a cafe in the "Keys House" connected by an outside corridor. You can also play the grand piano in the Sauter for a fee. Infants sleeping with parents are not added to the number of guests, but toddlers (1 year old and over) will be charged a facility usage fee of 1,000 yen per person (local payment). The space The guest rooms at this guest house have a garden view of a charming Japanese-style courtyard. Free-wifi is available throughout the building. On the first floor, there is a large living room with 3 sofa beds around a low table. It has a large TV for games and movies, and a computer desk. There is also a Go Shogi board and a Mahjong set. There is also a kitchen. The separate room on the ground floor is a library (with a luxury sofa & bed) and can also be used as a bedroom. Guests renting the entire building can cook for themselves using the mini-kitchen. The second floor has a single Western-style room (2 people), a twin Western-style room (3 people), and a Japanese-style room (5 people). There is a bath, two shower rooms, and two toilets in the building. Towels, pajamas, extra pillows, hair dryer, washing machine, and dryer are available for free. To help the global environment, amenities such as toothbrushes and toothbrush holders are available for a fee. You can have coffee and lunch at the cafe & restaurant of the "Keez House", which is connected to the guest house and the outside corridor. Snacks, drinks, and alcohol are also available without a reservation. We also sell Nishio Matcha green tea as a gift. The Hanare building is a rental space (for a fee) and can be used as a conference room. The semi-soundproof room has a grand piano made by Sauter (Germany), making it ideal for music camps. We also rent guitars and ukuleles. There is a grill terrace (for a fee) in the courtyard where you can BBQ and bake pizzas. It can be used by up to 20 people. There are 5 rental bicycles (for a fee) for local tours such as Kira Waikiki Beach and the national treasure, Myodaido. During your stay The owner is in the office of the main house of "Keez House". You can talk to them anytime. I like art, such as music and paintings, traveling, photography, history, literature, and shogi. I am also the representative of Nishio Local Information Center, so I know a lot about the local area, so please ask me anything. The owner was born in 1957. During my time in Tokyo, I was a reporter for the Japan Agricultural Newspaper. I returned home after retirement, renovated my parents' home (vacant home), and opened "Keez House" in December 2017. Other things to note This guest house is located in a residential area, so please do not disturb the neighbors. Please keep quiet outside the building at night. Please do not talk, especially in front of the entrance, parking lot, or outside the building. Also, please do not make loud noises indoors.
