Fresh air is coming from the Tambakboyo valley and distributed through a passive air circulation system, providing a countinuous fresh environment. Built in a Kampung (village) the villa is by nature surrounded by Bamboo trees. Together with beautiful sawah (rice fields) and river located just a few steps away, they provide fresh and cool air. The surroundings of the villa suits well to our commitment to green living. Organic waste is composted, grey water is separately treated in green beds, and hot water is provided from solar system. The design of the house is also reflecting green style of living. Villa Alicia is a typical tropical house with private veranda in every room. From the veranda you can see the daily’s life of people in our village. Guest access Guest will have access to the shared kitchen and living room, garage, garden, and cafeteria. Other things to note Villa Alicia is located near the hearth of Seturan and Babarsari, close to several famous universities (Gadjah Mada, Atmajaya, STIE YKPN, Sanata Dharma & UPN). Seturan and Babarsari are centers of educations as well as culinary. Many restaurants and food stalls serving Indonesian and westerns/oriental food are available here with relatively cheap price (local price). Villa Alicia has good access to Afandi Street (Jalan Gejayan), Jalan Solo and Ring Road. In Afandi Street near the University of Sanata Dharma and Atmajaya you can find some institutions to learn Indonesian and Javanese. Villa Alicia is just 10 minutes by car or motorbike from Adisucipto airport, 10 minutes to Ambarukmo Plaza and Hartono Mall, 10 minutes to Gadjah Mada University, 20 minutes to the center of the city, and 20 minutes to Prambanan Temple.
