Spacious House near Arnside AONB & Lake District

Guests will have sole use of the spacious house and its relaxing lounge with access to the large sunny deck. The well equipped kitchen has a comfortable dining area. The luxurious bathroom has a walk-in shower and splendid double ended tub. From the bright double bedroom, there are views to the park.. Access and parking is via the private driveway. Close to Silverdale, Arnside AONB, Leighton Moss, Dallam deer park, the coast, the lake district, an excellent location for exploring & cycling. The space Located on the Silverdale Arnside peninsular, Garden cottage is conveniently positioned within a very short walking distance to all amenities the village has to offer. These include pubs, takeaways, cafes, Booths supermarket, butchers and a local post office and convenience store. Beautiful scenery is just on the doorstep with Dallam Estate offering walks through parkland, the home of Fallow deer and many other forms of wildlife, as well as fantastic views across the estuary to the lakeland fells and the Howgills. Kingfishers and otters are often seen on the Bela, a minute stroll from the house. Take a walk to Arnside Knott via the Fairy footsteps along the footpaths and country lanes. Cyclists are also spoilt for choice as Garden Cottage is situated on the National Cycle route 6, where routes ranging from completely flat for the novice ( a flat ride to the Derby Arms for dinner in Witherslack is one of our favourites) to longer and more challenging rides can be found. The area is a must for bird watchers with Foulshaw Moss and Leighton Moss both within cycling distance. Bring your binoculars and spot the number of species to be seen directly from the outside space at Garden Cottage! Guest access The house is all yours for the duration of your stay. Living room, kitchen diner, Bedroom with King sized bed. Bathroom and downstairs cloakroom with washing machine. Other things to note Please let me know if you'll be charging an electric vehicle at the property, I now have a dedicated Zappi 7kw EV charger. I don't make ant profit on this service and you will be charged for just the electricity you use, currently this is 26p per kwh.
