The space Under the Castle A Apartment is a true masterpiece of design, renovated in 2018, blending the quirky and timeless elegance of a castle interior. Its charming old-style brick arches, some real antique restored pieces of furniture combined with well-thought-out details. The apartment is located on a very quiet street right in the heart of Ljubljana. The apartment has an accommodation possibility for up to 4 people. There is a fully equipped and functional kitchen that has a thoughtful design of a bar, bar chairs, and a dining counter with a unique dining table and chairs, where you will enjoy your meals. In this style, under charming old-style brick arches, there is a fully equipped bathroom, with a unique shower bath, sink, and travel kit. We've taken care of all the details, from providing fresh towels, shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer. Also, there is an external laundry at your disposal, for providing a washer & dryer for your convenience. In the apartment, with the timeless elegance of a castle interior, there is a double bed in the gallery under the beautiful old-style arch and a sofa in the living area, which can extend into a comfortable spare bed (160 x 200 cm), complemented by a flat-screen TV and fast WI-FI. MORE ABOUT THE INTERIOR - The comfortable double -size bed (140 cm × 200 cm). - There you can also find a wardrobe if you wish to unpack and put away your clothes. - Provided FULL HD TV with all the major international channels and FAST WI-FI internet access - Fully equipped kitchen where you will find everything you need (washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, microwave, oven, hot water cattle, dishes etc..) - Bathroom with all the essentials. - A washing/drying machine (shared laundry, outside the apartment, ground floor) - EARLY CHECK-IN or A LATE CHECK-OUT - a matter of availability at an extra charge of 30€. MORE ABOUT THE BUILDING: You'll find yourself just a stone's throw away from all the city's major attractions while enjoying the tranquility of this hidden gem. The building has two entrances, each offering its own set of enchantments. From one entrance, you can step directly onto the Funicular Railway to Ljubljana Castle. The historic house's wall facing the funicular forms a part of the historic defensive wall of the castle and the old town. You'll truly be residing within a living connection to Ljubljana Castle. In front of the entrance, there is a common shared terrace (patio) where you may rest and enjoy a cup of drink in a sitting area that is provided for residents' use. From the other entrance, you have easy access to a walking path that leads to Ljubljana Hill Castle in just 10 minutes or guides you towards the vibrant city center. Within a minute, you can stroll to the main Ljubljana marketplace, the famous Dragon Bridge, the Triple Bridge, and the vibrant Prešernov trg, the city's central square. The main train and bus station is just a 10-minute walk away. It's indisputably the prime location in town, ensuring that you're at the crossroads of Ljubljana's cultural tapestry. The building has a ground floor, first floor, second floor, and third floor (attic). The apartment is located on the ground floor. Guest access The whole apartment. Sharing patio terrace on the first floor. (Second entrance, looking to the Funicular) Although right next to the pedestrian area of the old town, the building can be accessed with a car. (you can not park here, but can deliver) The main train/bus station is about 10 minutes of walk away and a local bus station, is just across the street. If you arrive by plane - Shuttle Go-opti station is also across the street. If you use an electric car - the station is across the street at the central market. (1min) Other things to note If you have any questions whatsoever please let us know. - To avoid any unpleasant surprises please note that we will need to ask you to send us a copy of your personal ID prior to your arrival for the purpose of guest registration with the local authorities. - Persons other than registered guests are restricted from the apartment. - Tourist tax is not included in the rental price and needs to be paid onsite. Ljubljana’s Tourist Tax of 3,13€/ guest/ night. Persons from 7 to 18 years of age € 1.57. The amount is set by city government policy. You can check on visitljubljana(dot)com. - For the check-in process, we use the self-check-in process, it is easy and gives you maximum flexibility upon your arrival however if we are available, we also like to welcome guests personally, since me and my family live in the same building. - Feel like home - Looking forward to your arrival!
