Description
The house is a listed property, with the old part from around 1835. The interiors are modern and elegant to suit your needs, comfort, and even luxury. And the lane between the Lodge and the Orchil castle will be mostly all yours shared by sheep, roe deer, pheasants, squirrels and birds found in the area. Depending on the time of the year, you may be able to pick wild raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and even mushrooms such as chanterelles and porcini ! The space This listing is for our twin bedroom; if your party is up to 4 persons, please see our other listing (North Lodge of Orchil - a heritage property) for our double room (2 guests). The house has a garden spread over almost 4 acres - most of it semi-natural, and some cultivated. All around are woods, heather-grassland muir grazing for sheep, quiet lanes for walks and cycling. The guest sitting room has a large screen TV, fridge and microwave. Perfect place for both outdoorsy and indoorsy folks. Guest access There is a guest sittingroom in addition to the bedrooms and the guest private bathroom. The sittingroom has a fridge and microwave for simple meals. Cars may be parked at the front door, cycles may be stored in the garage overnight. The guest bedroom shares one bathroom with the other guest bedroom. Note that the views mentioned are available from the house, and not from the bedrooms. Other things to note We have one small very friendly terrier by name Mika. Please note that while we provide facilities for tea and coffee, and a microwave for simple cooking/heating, we do not offer breakfast as standard, but may consider on request.. We also expect guests to wash-up their dishes - our kitchen is vegetarian and gluten free due to the host being coeliac. Registration Details PK11500F
