Very comfortable house for 10 people (in terms of fixed beds in the bedrooms, seats, dishes, etc.) but can accommodate up to 12 (by squeezing ;-)). Come and stay in our wooden house nestled in a walled garden on the edge of the Mayenne. You can enjoy the calm of our accommodation or the activity of the city center that you will reach in a few minutes, on foot or by bike, by the towpath (the house is at km 34 of the towpath). The space PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING A REQUEST (booking conditions, cleaning, presence of a cat, etc.) The house is spacious, bright and comfortable. On the ground floor, you can enjoy the large living room, the American kitchen equipped with a central island, the dining room (2 m x 1 m table), the living room equipped with a wood-burning stove and the small TV lounge (with a Chrome Cast to project from your smartphone to the TV via Wi-Fi). Cocooning guaranteed! The house has 10 "real" beds ("real" beds in bedrooms) but also 2 extra beds. Bedroom 1 with queen size bed (160 X 200) with adjoining shower room (shower and double sink) on the ground floor. On request, a baby crib can be added. Upstairs of the house: -bedroom 2 with a double bed (140 x 190), 1 single bed (70 x 190), open shelves, a small desk and a collection of comics, - bedroom 3 equipped with a double bed (140 x 190), a single bed (70 x 190), a small desk, open shelves for your belongings. - bedroom 4 in which there is a double bed (140 x 190), a desk and a dresser. -A very functional bathroom (bathtub, shower, double sink, changing table, toilet). It is possible to put an extra mattress (130 x 190 mattress) on the floor in the TV room to create a 5th bedroom (but it cannot have the same level of comfort as the others). Our house is "(almost) ZERO WASTE": we favor the reusable, the washable, the packaging-free, the homemade, we sort, compost, etc. On site you will find: - dish towels and hand towels, - reusable fabric napkins and paper towels, - dishwashing and cleaning products (DIY) - garbage bags and a compost - cotton cloths for washing and removing makeup - containers (jars, bottles, baskets, cloth bags, etc.) for shopping in bulk, - a Sodastream fountain to make sparkling water (tap water is also drinkable), - a small Italian coffee maker and an electric one with reusable filter (you only need to bring coffee), - tawashis /ecological sponges, - dry toilets (outside) as an alternative to the 2 "drinking water" toilets which are inside. Bed and bath linen is included in the price. To be discussed. IDENTITY CARD: As a safety measure, we now only accept requests from guests who have had their ID card validated by AirBnB. Similarly, we decline bookings made for a third party (including business bookings -> the person booking must be one of the guests). CLEANING: there is no cleaning fee. We ask guests to do a full clean (excluding laundry) and make the house as clean as they found it. CAT: we have a cat, Maddie, who does not travel with us. She stays with us and lives "independently"; there is no need to take care of her (she enters and exits through a cat flap; she has an automatic kibble dispenser; there is no litter to change, etc.). She likes to spend time outside and inside. She is wary of other animals. If you have a dog, it must "behave", do not bark at it, do not run after it, etc. Guest access Outside: you can park your vehicles in the yard or in the free parking spaces along the property. The garage will allow you to store your bikes, strollers, etc. safely. Guests can enjoy the unoverlooked terraces and sunny courtyard all day long (east-south-west orientation) for dining (garden table with 6 chairs and parasol), relaxing (garden furniture and hammocks) or playing (large lawn, ping-pong table, children's playhouse). We also have a double canoe for guests. Other things to note Check-in and checkout times are for information purposes only. They should be refined for each booking. This house is our primary residence (not a vacation rental). We offer it for rent on an ad hoc basis. We review each request based on our personal calendar.
