Holiday home in the Mangfall Valley

Great vacation home for up to 2 families (max. 9 people) in the idyllic Mangfall Valley with large living/dining area and large garden. Ideal starting point for holidays in Upper Bavaria between Munich and Salzburg. The house has 2 family rooms with 4 or 5 beds, a large bathroom and another toilet. In the fully equipped kitchen you can cook together, and in the large living room in front of the fireplace you can relax after a great day in nature. The space The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village right next to a meadow, where highland cattle graze in the summer. The street "Zur Wuhr" (Bavarian "The Weir") is only used by the residents, our house is the penultimate house on the street - then comes the cow pasture. Behind the house the mill stream splashes, 500 m away the Mangfall rushes impressively. The house is usually inhabited by us and is therefore equipped with everything you could wish for from a vacation apartment with children (incl. children's toys such as LEGO, Playmobil, shop, wooden train; crib and highchair). You can take numerous great tours nearby, for which you can start directly from the house. In a 45-minute driving radius you are at the Wendelstein, in Munich or at Lake Chiemsee - ideal for nature lovers. The first load of wood is next to the fireplace and is on the house, as is the first pack of Nespresso coffee. Westerham train station is a 10-minute walk away. Once an hour there is a connection to Rosenheim and Munich via Holzkirchen. From Holzkirchen you can also reach Bayrischzell, Schliersee, etc. A very large Edeka (with its own bakery), an Aldi and a DM can be found in 5 minutes by car (approx. 15-minute walk) in Westerham. In the other district of Feldkirchen there are butchers & bakeries as well as a few smaller shops (e.g. books, stationery). Of course, there are also numerous great beer gardens in the area (e.g. "Goldenes Tal" in Naring). There is a pizzeria a 5-minute walk away if you need something quick. Guest access Guests can use all accessible rooms in the house and the corresponding inventory (games for adults and children, books, CDs, TVs, as well as sun loungers, barbecue, etc.). Linens and towels are sufficiently provided and are ready. Other things to note We want you to feel comfortable with us and want to feel comfortable again when we are in our house. Please note the following: Dining table: The pull-out mechanism of the table may only be used after prior instruction. If you are not sure, please ask the contact persons on site - it is better to ask once than to spend a lot of money repairing the table. If you come with more than 8 people, we will prepare the table accordingly so that you do not have to worry about it Fireplace: The firewood is cut down, sawn and split by us. So there is a lot of work involved, and firewood is very expensive. Please contact us if you need more wood, then we will arrange a price. Please never light the fireplace with paper. Wax-based igniters and kindling are available - the fireplace draws very well when the window is closed, so you can use both sparingly.
