The construction of the house combines modern architecture with the timeless aspects of colonial era mansions. The TV lounge and the dining area encircle an indoor garden complete with exotic plants. There is a complete pantry adjacent to the dining area. The house has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Among them 3 bedrooms have attached bathrooms and 2 bedrooms have a shared bathroom. The master suite contains a large closet area and the other rooms have smaller closet areas. The space There is a balcony in the back of the house overlooking the back yard. Around the front of the house is a large pond containing fresh water fish and tropical aquatic plants. Indoor Balcony (Soldara): The most noticeable part of the house is the front of the house that contains a large outpost that stands a complete floor above the house, it is accessible by a staircase in the living room. The outpost provides a nice view of the surrounding as well as a bird’s eye view of the living room from its balcony. At the moment, this area is empty and is a good location for a game room. A Billiard table or a bar can be installed. Otherwise a quiet reading room with hobby area can be established. It is also ideal for a small library as we have all sorts of books. Gym: A fully equipped professional gym is also found at the end of the balcony overlooking the back yard. Fittings: An electric oven, medium size fridge, and a semi-automatic washing machine are also available. Main grid electricity supply and SLT(Sri Lanka Telecom) land line facilities available. There is a backup power system. Every area in the house has special LED lights which are powered by a battery backup during any power shortage for the entire night. The backup can also be used to power normal power outlets and lights but the backup period is shorter. Land is in the catchment area of many 4G internet providers if a mobile internet facility is required. Currently SLT provides internet and PEO TV(cable TV). Land has self-sufficient well water. There is an industrial grade water purification system with a 8000-liter sump tank. Solar hot water facilities are also available for all bathrooms and kitchens located in the house.
