Very close to the Theophilos Museum, the University of the Aegean or the city's shores. -With a 35-minute flight from Athens or Thessaloniki you will be in Mytilene, opposite the coast of Asia Minor. -15 minutes by car from the airport or port you will be at home, in the suburb of Taxiarches (or Kagiani). The space Lesvos is lush in the central and eastern parts, with cool ravines full of plane trees or walnut trees and verdant with olive groves, pine trees or tamarisk trees from the mountains to its shores. To the west, the landscape changes. Here is one of the world's largest Geoparks, 150 sq. km of "fossilized forest".
