Madras- Room w Outdoor Shower 4mins from the beach

'Madras' is a large room in the older Hindu part of what must have been the original farm house. It has twin beds, that can be joined together with a double mattress if you so wish. It has an ensuite bathroom with an open air shower overlooked only by the birds and an old temple tree. It is one of several rooms in the house that has room for up to two extra beds. It has a courtyard shared with other guests with a table and chairs. The space This is a one-hundred-year-old, carefully renovated house set on a very quiet* cul-de-sac in the village** of Majorda, in South Goa. The longest beach, with the most beautiful sand in Goa, is about a kilometer away. Guests are very welcome to borrow a bicycle or grab a lift down there in our customized Tuk-Tuk for a nominal Rs 200 per trip. The rooms are named after the places we have lived in and loved all around India,mainly in Calcutta where we were born. They all have fans, air-conditioners and en-suite bathrooms. They don’t have phones or TVs . The later can be easily rustled up for children or major sporting events. The 12 x 4 meter swimming pool is set in a tropical garden with private sun bathing areas. It is built to be as natural looking as possible, so it feels like swimming in spring water. The shallow end of the pool is three feet deep so will not suit very young children, but is perfect for non-swimmers. The deeper end is about 10 feet. We’d be happy to set up a piddling pool in the front garden for tiny tots. Guest access Guests can access the entire property including the common areas, the restaurant and bar, and of course the swimming pool.
