The space Our house is situated on the beautiful, and sometimes dramatic Otago Peninsula. It is a ten minute drive from the Dunedin CBD and enjoys a rural aspect but has the advantage of being close to the city. It’s a large family home that I Deborah share with my husband Alistair. We would like the opportunity to share our house with travelers, but also earn extra income to travel more ourselves. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of our local surrounds, attractions and restaurants. We offer two separate bedrooms available for Airbnb guests, which share a 'Jack & Jill' bathroom. To ensure privacy and comfort, the rooms are only rented together if the guests are part of the same group (i.e. friends or family). Otherwise, you'll have the bathroom to yourself. Please note: The total price depends on the number of people and on the number of rooms rented. Prices may vary slightly depending on demand—current rates will always be shown on the Airbnb calendar. If you would like multiple rooms, you first book Bedroom 1, which has a queen size bed and is suitable for 1 or 2 people. The rate for Bedroom 1 is provided when you select your dates on Airbnb. Only after you have booked Bedroom 1, can Bedroom 2 be added to your reservation. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and is suitable for 1 or 2 people. The rate for Bedroom 2 is the same as the current price of bedroom 1. To rent this room, simply include a message requesting it, when you book Bedroom 1. We will then update your reservation to include the price of both rooms. We also include a continental breakfast and barista-made coffee for all guests. Please note we live in the house. Guest access We are happy for our guests to make full use of the kitchen and laundry during their stay with us. We also like our guests to make full use of the living area's and our garden. We have a reasonable vegetable garden which we are happy for our visitors to help themselves to. During your stay We try to be at home if possible to greet our guests, sometimes this is not possible. We try to be as helpful as possible without being too invasive. Other things to note Our beaches are our best kept secret, dramatic and quite often deserted. Clean and rubbish free, we love them!
