The space The "Il Grande Faggio" Environmental Education and Experience Center is an agency dedicated to sustainable development, offering cultural, tourist and recreational initiatives aimed at schools, institutions, groups and families. Recognized by the Abruzzo Region as a "Regional Interest Center", it is part of the I.N.F.E.A. National System and the Legambiente National Network of Environmental Education Centers. Located in the picturesque Majella National Park, the surrounding environment is rich in ecological peculiarities and ancient popular traditions, testifying to the harmony between man and nature that we share with our guests. The activities offered range from educational and scientific workshops to hiking and mountain tourism, including volunteer experiences in the environment. Visiting the center is an opportunity to discover the nature, history and culture of the Majella, known as the "mother mountain" by the ancient Italics and "Father of the mountains" by Pliny the Elder.
