Description

Relax and absorb yourself in fine furnishings, quality antiques and stunning gardens. The space Brook Cottage is fully refurbished and comfortable, very comfortable. You will have access to full bathroom amenities, including a separate shower and a deep bath. We also provide Lacoste towels, bathrobes and the finest cotton sheets. The cottage is perfectly situated in the heart of Worcestershire, providing a base to explore a multitude of local landmarks, heritage sites and cities. However, many visitors decide to relax in the seven acres of garden, which ranges from classical formal gardens to wonderful woodland. The mill pond enjoyed from Toad Hall was recorded in the Domesday Book nearly a millennium ago. Home to the present Lord of the Manor of Martley, you are assured a warm welcome in this unique setting. Guest access You have access to a full range of washing facilities, a dishwasher, microwave and ovens, iron, electric blankets, masses of hot water and heating, smart TV and DVD player. The grounds offer acres of grass for the energetic to play ball sports, whilst the woods invite you to rest, sit around campfires and roast marshmallows. However, if you want to split logs, clear pondweed or garden .......feel free! Other things to note The cottage is close to several wedding venues such as St Peters Church Martley, Curradine Barns Shrawley (5.4 miles), The Elms (5.5 miles) and The Bank House (9 miles). There are some great walks nearby, including the famous Worcestershire Way and many more throughout the Malvern Hills. For sports fans, there are some fantastic golf courses, as well as premiership rugby union (Worcester Warriors) and First-Class county cricket (Worcestershire CCC) in Worcester. There is also a host of local vineyards to visit and plenty of award winning local beers and cheeses to try. The property is surrounded by Bulmer's cider orchards and wonderful spring blossom.
