We've lovingly restored this 19th century building so that it now provides the height of modern living. The house is extremely eco-friendly, with geo thermal under-floor heating, solar panels and a warm welcoming wood-burning stove in the main lounge. Situated on a no through road that leads away into the hills, it will appeal to country lovers and wildlife enthusiasts in particular. The space The accommodation is very spacious and can easily accommodate up 8 visitors. A large entrance hall and utility area leads through to the bright modern kitchen / breakfast room. The main lounge has deep sofas and a lovely wood-burning stove. The windows look out across the gardens to the hills and countryside beyond. There is a separate dining room with dining for up to 8. Upstairs are three large double bedrooms and a shower room. The large landing doubles as a second lounge and has a sofa bed which sleeps 2. With a spacious family bathroom on the ground floor the house is ideal for large families or a two-family holiday. There is a games room in an outside shed with a table tennis table and pool table. There is a near full sized croquet lawn to use by arrangement. Guest access deer, snipe, curlew, herons and a wide variety of other birds including a resident woodpecker can be spotted close by. With no near neighbours and two hundred acres of gardens and grounds, it provides total seclusion whilst being easily accessible for exploring the whole of this fascinating area and historic region. The beautiful coast of the Moray Firth, with its long, empty sandy beaches, is an 8-mile walk along the Fishwives' Way, and the Cairngorms are easily accessible to the South. Whisky lovers will find themselves spoilt for choice with many Speyside distilleries nearby, including Strathisla, the oldest working distillery, just 3 miles away in Keith.
