Luxury Villa on a beautiful farmland

Our property is a beautifully renovated old farmhouse in the ancestral family farm. The villa it self offers 5 en-suite bedrooms, hot tub, spacious living area with the large panoramic window and the fire place being the centerpiece. It will serve as a luxury base to explore some of the wonders Iceland has to offer, located only 35 minutes drive from Reykjavík. The property was selected as a shooting location of the final episode of Bachelor 2022 in Iceland. The space Nestled in the heart of the Icelandic mountains, the Farm is the ideal place to unwind, reconnect with nature and immerse yourself in the local culture. The modern and tastefully restored interiors will give a great sense of warmth and coziness with stunning views on the surrounding landscape. The large panoramic central window and open plan living space invites you to admire the views regardless the weather. Comfy sitting areas, fire place, traditional wooden finishes and cozy decor make the interior a perfect space to unwind and relax. The villa is surrounded by beautiful peaks and hills, giving the guests opportunity for endless hiking, to visit local cave, waterfalls and play with the horses grassing on the fields next to the farm. For those who prefer active holiday the villa will serve as a luxury base to explore some of the wonders Iceland has to offer. The Golden Circle, Þingvellir – the National Park, Glymur – the highest waterfall of Iceland are all within reach and short distance from Reykjavik ( 35 min ) allows for a quick city escapes. We offer 5 en-suite bedrooms. Three of which are spacious, decorated in a luxurious and cozy way. Two other bedrooms are smaller, yet designed in a warm and stylish way. Two luxury equipped kitchens gives you the benefit of choosing between self-catering or chef prepared meals. Outside there is a barbeque. For special occasions and eating experiences, there is a separated professional space for cooking teams. Outside there is a hot tub where you can enjoy the views of the beautiful landscape in full privacy and with a bit of luck you might even catch a glimpse of world famous aurora. Very close by there is a beautiful garden with a pond where it is ideal to go on a SUP (stand up paddle board) or row on a small boat with the children. Free High-Speed WiFi throughout the property. TV with AppleTV is located in the open plan living area as well as a Bluetooth speaker. Final cleaning is included. Guests have access to the entire property with privacy and they can walk freely around the entire farm land.
