Lavender Cottage

Caters for 2 adults (king size bed) and 3 kids or adults in a separate bedroom with 3 3/4 beds. Spacious enough for an extra cot and/or stretcher. It has a covered veranda with a lovely view over the valley. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom with shower and fireplace in the living room. DSTV. The space Our beautiful farm Thabametsi (meaning Mountain Water) lies between two koppies overlooking the valley to the Witwatersrand Mountains. We have a mixture of agricultural and wilderness areas making it fairly unique. Grasslands for the animals to graze on and the wilderness areas that provide shelter for the little creatures – squirrels, monkeys, buck, mongoose, porcupines, jackal, civets and even a serval that has made the farm it’s home. We cater for families and couples in our self catering cottages. Children are welcome and there are many activities to keep them occupied whilst our dog visitors are free to run and explore the open spaces. Guest access Guests are free to walk the whole of the farm and shared areas. The unit are private and booked out solely to the guest(s). There is undercover parking for Lavender cottage. Other things to note Please Note that we advertise as a quiet breakaway, the playing of music and excessive noise is not permitted. We trust it will encourage you to visit us.
