The priory washhouse
The priory washhouse
Description
In the heart of the Sarthe Perche in Sceaux sur Huisne, a water town in Roman times, behind the church with its very special bell tower, is the washhouse of "the priory farm". This small building and its basin fed by a spring are part of a very preserved and green space. A hundred meters below are the remains of the Gallo-Roman baths. The room was installed in an old washhouse dating from the 15th century, so we offer you a night "on the waterfront". The space €16 per additional guest (beyond 2 people). This supplement does not apply to children up to 3 years old. Price includes breakfast. Guest access The laundry is entirely at your disposal. It is totally independent of our residence. There's also a private terrace, equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. During your stay I am available anytime by phone or text.
