Our Welsh traditional 18th Century cottage set in a secluded village location, where children and pets are welcome. The cottage offers spectacular country views, an outdoor pool for family fun, new for September 2021 a fabulous Hot With easy access to the RSPB Reserve, Brecon Beacons, Dan-yr-Ogof Caves, Graig-y-nos Castle & the Gower Peninsula. Offering you the opportunity to explore our welsh heritage via; foot, bicycle, motor cycle & car, with easy train access to our capital city, Cardiff. The space Our cottage is named Brynheulog, (sunshine hill) and is set in an acre of ground with secluded areas to sunbath and relax, whilst offering open spaces for children & Dogs to run around and boast a 14 foot outdoor cold water pool. New for September 2021 the will be a fabulous hot tub to soak up the panoramic views at an additional charge of £10 per night. The traditional character, includes an inglenook fireplace with stone walls an a conservatory to soak up the views, with two reception rooms to choose from. The spectacular bathroom, has a roll top bath, big enough for two, also offering a level access shower, with an additional ground floor cloak room with shower. The cottage has three large bedrooms, with accommodates for 6 to 8 persons, with two reception rooms and a conservatory, enough space to unwind and relax. The farm house kitchen has a traditional slate floor, with patio doors opening on to the garden. The garden consists of two decking areas, a patio, a pergola and lawned gardens. The grounds Offer ample off road parking for up to 6 cars. Out door actives include mountain and river walks within a stone throw of the cottage. The village of clydach offers indoor rock climbing, yoga, Mond Valley Golf club and bistro wine bars and restaurants. The wider area has tennis clubs, leisure centers with wave pool, and the cottage is within 30 to 50 minutes of the stunning beaches of the Gower peninsular. A security bond of £150 is requested 12 hrs before arrival and refunded within 48 hrs of departure... please see House Rules for all details which form part of our T&Cs. regards Lisa Jones Guest access There is a local bus service, but a car is need to explore the surrounding beauty of Wales. For those who want to enjoy the countryside by food we have wooded river trails and stunning mountain paths. The adventurous can hire bikes and safely travel along miles of cycle paths into Swansea and Gower. The train service by the town of Neath and the City of Swansea allows you access to west Wales and our capital city Cardiff. Other things to note Our booking policy complies with the Welsh government Covid regulations. Whilst the cottage sleeps 8 people, all guests must be family members within their safe "bubble", or comply with the Welsh government regulation. Rapid Covid tests are available for all guests to use at their discretion. However on leaving our cottage we ask all guests to take a rapid Covid test to assist us in our duty of care to comply with strict deep cleaning regulation. The results of all tests will be private to each individual. Personal towels will not be provided.
