Once our family's vacation house, this 3rd-floor apartment is located halfway between the town of Tavira and the small fishing village of Cabanas. The balcony provides a beautiful 180º view over the Ria Formosa Natural Park and the Atlantic Ocean. Close to a wide offer of small villages, sandy beaches, golf courses, and restaurants, it is only a 3-4 min drive away from Tavira's town center with its Roman bridge, river, and fish/farmers' market. 2 min drive to the closest supermarkets. The space The apartment has a main bedroom with a 2nd smaller indoor bedroom, a good-sized kitchen, and a spacious living room. The kitchen doesn't have an oven, only a gas stove. It is equipped with a microwave, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and washer. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower. We provide 2 towels per guest (hands/bath). Shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer, and a first aid kit are also available. Bedroom: Beds are made. Extra blankets or a duvet are available. We use pillow and mattress protectors which are always replaced between guests. There are 2 Inverter Air Conditioners: One (7,000 BTU/hour) in the main bedroom and another (12,000 BTU/hour) in the living room. Access: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR, and access is by outdoor stairs only. Wifi (30/30Mb) and cable TV are available. WE CAN ONLY GUARANTEE ACCESS TO THE SWIMMING POOL DURING THE HIGH SEASON (June 15th to September 15th)! Guest access Unrestricted Other things to note The living room and small room's ceiling lights are disconnected. For improved energy efficiency we are, at the moment, using floor lamps with LED lights. In Portugal, 99% of tap/public water is of excellent quality and good for human consumption.
