Getting started on a sailboat
Getting started on a sailboat
Description
As a sailing professional, I don't offer you a home, but a total change of scenery. A boat is not a house, but a way of life. The space is small and comfort is spartan to the uninitiated. Living on board requires disconnecting from your earthly habits. Also, please read the house rules carefully before you commit. I am on board, where I have a reserved cabin, to answer questions about life on board and at sea. Breakfast: 5 euros. The space 4 cabins available including 2 with bunk beds. Continental breakfast. I stay on board the night I have a cabin booked. Also, I do not ask for any deposit and you do not have to do any inventory. Onboard toilets NOT USABLE at the dock due to port regulations. Toilet on the pontoon, about 50 meters and at the captain's office, about 400 meters. I do not offer meals on board in the evening to avoid odors that could inconvenience passengers at night, as the living space is reduced. Nevertheless, I am open to a table d'hôtes, terms to be discussed together. Holder of a 200 sail captain's license and professional skipper, I also offer sea trips, legally, the sailboat being NUC approved and regularly inspected by AFMAR. Guest access Access to the entire boat except unassigned cabins. Other things to note Being a sailing professional, boat trips can be arranged during your stay, including for outdoors.
