Tinos Ecolodge Big stone house

This is a total eco designed lodge in Tinos! Three independent off grid stone houses on a plot of 6000sqm in a totally natural and unspoilt environment. In the heart of rural Tinos with view direct to the sunrise from the sea, each house has an area of 250sqm of private terraces and gardens! An organic vegetable garden near the river provides fresh vegetables to the guests that can pick up everyday. There is a common outdoor kitchen and BBQ at the garden and hammocks under the trees to chill. The space The big stone house has 2 separate bedrooms, ideal for a family, with one double bed and two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas oven, fridge and all necessary utensils to cook a proper wholefood meal. The kitchen opens to the big terrace in front of the house with garden sofas and dinning table. There is also a smaller terrace on the south bedroom side with a hammock and sun deck chairs. The three houses are far away from each other keeping complete privacy to their terraces and noise. Guest access There is a vegetable and herb garden with all seasonal vegetables and herbs that the guest has full access and there is a common barbeque and outside kitchen area which is also free to use together with the guests of the other house. There is a common washing machine in the Utility room next to the houses which is also for the guests to use. There are fresh eggs everyday from our chicken and homemade jams, preserved veggies, capers, olives, raki and wine all from our garden! Other things to note The energy is provided from a photovoltaic system and the water is harvested from the rain. There is a sophisticated water management system, for collection, consumption, filtration and reuse. Using our resources sustainably is essential to the self sufficient philosophy! Grey water is purified through a reedbed system and recycled for toilet flush and irrigation. Low flush toilets are installed in the houses and there is also a compost toilet in the garden for alternative users. The organic waste from the kitchen is collected and composted.
