Quirky Hideaway - no hidden extra charges!

Beautiful hideaway in rural Norfolk, on the edge of the Broads within the picturesque Waveney Valley. The cart lodge has everything you could need for a relaxed stay in the countryside. With its own front door, kitchen/dining room, bedroom/lounge and toilet/shower room. This accommodation is not suitable for children. We also have a small campsite on site. The space Come and stay with us in our rustic rural quirky converted pub in the beautiful Waveney Valley. Our home was "The Old Sun Inn" & the annex was originally the cart lodge, which still retains some of the old features including beamed ceilings. Ideal for couples or solo travellers. The cart lodge has its own private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen/Dining area, Lounge area with double bed & sofa, smart TV, with radio, DVD player, easy chairs & a Toilet/Shower room. The bedroom has a king size bed that can be split into 2 single beds (on request). We have air source heating which keeps the temperature constant without the need for radiators to be hot. Though attached to our house the cart lodge is fully self contained giving you privacy in which to relax. Guests are invited to use our campsite area to sit by the gently flowing beck, have a picnic or sit watching the sun go down by the fire pit. If you need secure storage for bicycles no problem, just ask. This accommodation is not suitable for children or pets. Guest access Guests will have direct access with their own front door to the self contained Cart Lodge. Other things to note We provide basic breakfast essentials along with off road parking & free wifi. As we are in the countryside the mobile phone signal can be hit and miss and the wifi is not fast but more than adequate. We are in quite a rural location however as you will see from the photos there is a small country road that runs past the Cart Lodge therefore there will be occasional road noise, particularly during harvest time or if the windows are open. We are not on mains drainage so please do not flush wipes etc down the toilet. This accommodation is not suitable for children or pets.
