Description

This self-contained bungalow is located on one of the most delightful tree-lined streets in Canberra. Seconds walk from the Mt Ainslie reserve, where you can jog or hike, and 1.6km to the lively Braddon dining/shopping precinct. It is ideal for a couple on holiday or business travelers. The large bedroom contains a queen-sized bed, and the open plan, full-sized kitchen and living area is spacious and bright. The property is a convenient distance from the airport and Canberra's city centre. The space We live in the main house with our toddler daughter, and there are also two hens on the property which may sometimes roam the garden. We also expect to get a puppy to live in the main house soon too. Guests stay in the separate bungalow on our large suburban block, with completely independent access and living quarters. Due to covid-19 social distancing requirements, my husband I are now mostly working from home and on weekends we are also around our house and garden more than usual. However, we do our utmost to respect the privacy of our guests and maintain social distance. The property is 850 metres from the Ainslie shops, including an excellent IGA supermarket, Edgar’s Inn, Mama Dough pizzeria, French-Breton cafe Breizh and restaurant Pilot. Muesli and milk for breakfast are provided at the commencement of a guest's stay. Tea and coffee are provided, along with a coffee plunger, toaster, microwave and kettle. The kitchen is stocked with saucepans and frying pan, as well as a fridge and a modern oven. The bedroom contains a queen-sized bed. The bedroom and living room both have a ceiling fan (but no air-conditioning). Heaters are provided during the colder months. Guests have access to an outdoor table and chairs, immediately outside the bungalow's large glass patio doors. An iron and ironing board are also provided. Car parking is available on the street. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the bungalow, and also to the outdoor patio outside the bungalow’s glass sliding doors. Other things to note We will soon be introducing hens to the chook house on our property, and so guests may have the opportunity to interact with the hens. We also expect to get a puppy dog soon.
