Borgo di Vagli is a restored village with careful attention to detail. Nestled in the Tuscan hills, it is just a 20-minute drive to Cortona, the famous town of Etruscan origin that dominates the Val di Chiana from the hill. The space The Hamlet’s 21 residences are beautifully furnished, self-catering with fully equipped kitchens incl. dishwasher, electric oven, 4 gas hobs/burner, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, hair-dryer, cutlery and crockery. Telephone, bluetooth speaker, TV & DVD and satellite channels, free WIFI. Our Studio Residences can host up to 2 people Guest access The property has a reception and offers concierge and laundry services. Guests have access to a heated outdoor swimming pool (April-October) and olive grove terraces for reading and relaxing, as well as walking paths surrounded by greenery. In the village, there is a trattoria open every evening except Tuesdays by reservation. The trattoria also offers the option to request breakfast in the apartment. Also on site is a small shop with typical local food products. Parking is free. Other things to note Unlike other properties, our rates do not hide additional costs. The price includes: taxes, towels and linens, midweek and check-out cleaning service, gas, electricity, water and Wi-Fi. The price does not include the City of Cortona's ACCOMMODATION TAX. €4 per person per night for a maximum of 4 nights. Children under 12 are exempt from payment. Borgo di Vagli is accessible via a dirt road built from a medieval path that crosses a protected area of natural beauty. The area is bound by strict regulations, so drastic interventions such as the use of asphalt are prohibited. In some places the road is narrow and in one stretch it has a 30% slope.
