Nestled in the Tuscan hills, it is just a 20-minute drive to Cortona, the famous town of Etruscan origin that dominates the Val di Chiana from the hill. Borgo di Vagli is accessible via a dirt road built from a medieval path that crosses a protected area of natural beauty. The area is bound by strict regulations, so drastic interventions such as the use of asphalt are prohibited. In some places the road is narrow and in one stretch it has a 30% slope.
