Mikiura Guesthouse

Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We only take one reservation everyday so house is yours to use privately.We have no meal service since corona pandemic 2020. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains, and located close to the World Heritage of "Kumano Kodo" You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature. The space Our house is Japanese ordinary old house not like a commercial hotels or Japanese Ryokan. Some door sill hight and ceiling hight are not high enough for tall person and floor has some gap between passage to room or room to room. House was renovated but some part of the place are still looks rustic. But please enjoy and understand these are typical Japanese house in the country side. "This is a real experience of Japan ! " Once you step in to the guesthouse, you can feel traditional Japanese interior and construction. The atmosphere of the guesthouse is decidedly relaxed and quiet. Guesthouse is a great location for swimming / snorkeling / diving / fishing / sea kayaking / walking / trekking / cherry blossom viewing and more! Dining room: small refrigerator/ coffee drip server/ hot water kettle/ cupboard with glass and dishes/ TV. Kitchen: IH cook tops/ gas cook top/ sink/ refrigerator/ work top with some basic kitchen tools/ microwave oven/ toaster and more! Bath/shower room with soaking wooden tub (clean bath towel, body soap, shampoo, hair conditioner are available) Lavatory with wash basin and toilet with bidet and wash-let Double wash basin with clean hand towel & face towel Other things to note Free Wi-Fi Traditional comfy futons for sleeping Small refrigerator and glass/ dishes for dining room Large refrigerator, IH cooktop, gas cooktop, rice cooker, microwave oven, toaster, dish dryer, some pans and kichen tools for kichen.
