Environmentally - friendly materials are used in decoration of our apartment. There is kitchen in the appartment to make coffe or tea. Bath is totally yours and it is not shared with the host family as far as there are 2 other baths in the apartment. There can stay other guests in the appartment so if you need any information about it please ask me before booking. The apartment is situated in a very green and clean district 20 min to the downtown of Moscow.Nearest metro is SLAVYANSKIY BULEVARD metro station (4 bus stops or 20 minuts walking distance).Take a bus and in 20-30 minutes you will be at Arbat street or Red Square. Sightseeing: Sparrow Hills 20 minutes by bus, Poklonnaya Gora 5-7 minutes by bus. Couple of Metro stations in 15-20 minutes walking distance. There are also 2 parks and two supermarkets gust in front of our home. LOCATION: We are located in West part of Moscow in a green and calm part of it. There is Triumphal Arque, Poklonnaya Gora,Central Museum of the Second World War. The neighboring park is a huge park with Setun'-river. TRANSPORTATION: Moscow public transportation is world class just like the city itself.Ask me if you need to get anywhere but in any case maps will be provided!Cars can also easily be rented from car rental agencies.A taxi from airport is approximately 40-50 $ one way depending when and where you order one. You can also reach my appartment by aeroexpress which can lead you from the airoprt to metro staion (not mine one). The nearest metro to us is Slavyanskiy boulevard. From Slavyanskiy boulevard you need to take bus 641 or minibus 474 to reach my appartment.That is 4 bus stops. CLIMATE AND WEATHER: Moscow is located in western Russia and lies in the broad, shallow valley of the Moskva River, a tributary of the Oka and thus of the Volga, in the centre of the vast plain of European Russia.The climate of Moscow is of the continental type, modified by the temperate influence of westerly winds from the Atlantic Ocean. Winters are cold and long, summers are short and mild . The moderate annual precipitation occurs predominantly in the summer months, often in brief, heavy downpours.
