A Cottage of comfort on historic farm

Long John's Cottage is a warm & cosy 2 bedroom cottage situated 45mins from Launceston, 15mins from Devonport and 5 mins from the well known town of Latrobe. This place has its own fenced garden, own chooks & clothes washing machine too! Robin hoods Well is an historic 60ac property with lots of character. Family's welcome The space The space has a beautiful layout with a king main bedroom off the living. The second twin bedroom sits next to the bathroom on north side of cottage. A simple gallery style kitchenette and dining space is what you walk into from the entry and a lovey cozy lounge with cast iron wood fire central. The kitchenette has a kettle, toaster. microwave, plug-in electric hotplates x 2, sandwich maker, coffee machine, rice cooker & bar fridge. With a full bbq on porch. This cottage does not have a full kitchen but you can create super meals using these facilities provided. The bathroom is very modern and clean with walk in shower and has its own wash machine. Newly renovated with amazing vista. Gardens with variety of English and native plantings. This space is suited to sleep 4 adults comfortably plus a fold out bed for the 5 member. We also supply a cot if needed. We also have a cottage studio suitable to 2 adults only, and The Homestead which sleeps 12. this would be suitable to hire all dwellings for extended family holidays. Total up to 21people. There is a larger communal farm laundry (located at side of homestead building) which has a chest freezer and washing machine and dryer (fee applies for dryer) Guest access On day of guests arriving, cottage/ studio with be opened and key arrangement will be in door or we will meet you upon arrival. Parking is signed and right outside doors of accommodation. Nature walks, gardens, ample parking, farm experience, wifi, indulgence. Please read all safety notes before adventuring out through farm. Other things to note Animals that live on the farm: Cows, Horses, Dog "Zepplin” bird "Poppy", chickens. SAFETY: We encourage you to enjoy our farm, but do ask that you do not go into any paddocks where cattle and horses reside as they are very unpredictable.
