Description
We are situated in peaceful-welcoming village Laluri in lower Himalayas with amazing views, clean air, fresh spring water and nice neighbors. We have a mud house, mango trees and buffaloes. We live a simple life, work on the filed and chill with other villagers. The space I live with my wife Geeta, my two daughters Karishma and Ravina and son Robin. We have two rooms and a kitchen for the family, a room to share with the guest and a room for the buffalo. We have spectacular views of mountains, nice routes for trekking and highest peak around called Chandrabadani and it is amazing to see the sun rise from there. Guest access There is a shared new squat toilet and bathroom few steps away from the house. We cook simple meals on woods and which is served in kitchen. There is a refrigerator in the host room. During your stay We have fields where we grow the millets, pulses and some other vegetables. Fetch fresh water from the spring and grass from the forest for the buffaloes. People in the village are social, open-hearted and welcoming. Be the part of local ceremonies like wedding and pujas. Other things to note Pahaadi NGO is helping to manage the homestay in village Laluri. There are volunteers and workers who are working to generate the employment in the village to stop the migration from the villages, running evening classes for the village children. The guest can volunteer and help them in the evening classes and other projects.
