Although summer months are primetime , we suggest coming in off seasons as well, autumn is beautiful and winter days are just as romantic as well, it really never gets that cold in Rome. Spring is lovely to travel around the nearby towns and hop into Rome not soo hot , and many hot springs nearby as well. The nearby train station in Bracciano will connect you with Rome very easily.
