The Barn Swallow

Vacation barn De Zwaluw is a cozy vacation home, quietly located in the heart of Kempen. It is the perfect location to enjoy peace, nature, family and friends. The barn was transformed in 2017 into a comfortable and original vacation home for 8 to 11 people. Enjoy a glass of wine at the long wooden table or on the terrace while the kids experience adventures outside in their tree house or have fun inside with the games from the toy box? Anything is possible, nothing is a must. The space The house has 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. No bedroom can be called "average": next to the living area are 2 retro caravans, each with a double bed. The former hayloft was converted into a 4-person bedroom, with a double bed and 2 (single) loft beds. A note here: the high sleeper beds are not suitable for children under 6 years old. Behind the house is a large caravan, with a double bed and a single bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, each with a shower and sink. In the bathrooms of "De Hooizolder" and the "Crazy Calypso" (caravan), there is a toilet. The bathroom of the "Crazy Calypso" is in the barn, while the caravan is in the backyard. A short garden path bridges the distance between the caravan and the bathroom. The bathrooms of the 2 caravans can be reached through the living area. There is also 1 separate toilet that is accessible from the living area. Cozy and spacious living room with dining table for 12 people and sitting area. Behind the sitting area is a play corner with large seat cushions and a toy cabinet. Next to it is a foosball game. Next to the sitting area is the showpiece of the barn: a large bar from the 1st half of the 20th century with bar stools. Unfortunately, the tap no longer works, but there are large refrigerators to keep the drinks fresh. The fully equipped open kitchen is located on the other side of the sitting area. This one has all the comforts: induction hob, combi oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher… Guest access Guests have access to their own private garden (fully fenced) with large terrace and tree house. The swimming pool can be used in consultation with the host: it is located in the garden of the owner's private home, on the other side of the barn.
