Our three story house house in Ilica is newly renovated, has all the amenities you may need, and is a short 5 minute walk to the nearest neighborhood beach and a 15 minute walk from bigger beaches. As you approach the main house on the property, you are greeted with bright blue wooden gates leading to a cobblestone walkway surrounded by vine leaves and azaleas. The main door opens up to an airy foyer. You will immediately be impressed with wrought iron hand railing, sprawling up to the other floors. Entire house is furnished with electrical shutters for security and sleeping comfort. Living room, study, coat closet, kitchen (featuring a gas cooktop built in oven and dishwasher) and powder room. You can access the front porch from the living room and back porch from the study area. Both porches are covered and feature outdoor fans. Second floor features 3 bedrooms but owner's room isn't included in the listing and isn't available for use. On this floor you will find a large foyer leading to a bedroom with a Queen size bed and the second bedroom with a single size bed, which offers a balcony. Both rooms have charming custom built closets and fans as well as Air Conditioning. Foyer also boasts a beautiful hand made mosaic tiles and a charming antique mirror with cabinets. Full bathroom can also be found on this floor. All bathrooms throughout the house feature custom built vanities with shelving to store personal items. Third floor-Attic- has two rooms, each featuring Queen sized beds + single beds, Air Conditioning and custom built closets. The foyer on this floor opens up to the full bathroom. We do not recommend hosting guests with small kids due to the steps. Please note that due to lower ceiling height of the two rooms on this floor there are no ceiling fans, but air conditioners provide ample cool air. You can always open the windows to enjoy the fresh air. As you can see in the pictures, front porch has ample sitting area to enjoy your newspaper, book or to enjoy your Turkish coffee after breakfast. Glass enclosed back porch features the oval shaped teak dining table that seats 6, plus a few extra folding chairs to make extra room. A food preparation area which doubles as a buffet featuring hand made lattice cabinets offer ample room so all the necessary items can be brought outside at once, to avoid making multiple trips to the kitchen, which by the way is adjacent to this area with two huge windows that opens up so whoever is in the kitchen can join in the conversations taking place outside. Kitchen, although not oversized provides everything a family or a group needs from plenty of utensils, cooking gadgets, tea kettle, American coffee machine, dishwasher, cooktop with three gas and one electric burner. Portable child bed is available upon request. Please take a minute to read the information about the Guest House in the "Guest Access" section as this house Isn't part of the main house when rented. It Is listed and rented separately unless you have a family of 9+ people in which case you may need it. The guest house, occasionally, may be occupied by the owner or a family member at the same time the main house is occupied. Please don't hesitate to contact and ask any questions you may have. I will be happy to help as best as I can. The only part that is NOT INCLUDED in the main house is the Guest House which is listed separately. When the main house is occupied, we usually do not rent the guest house and occasionally use it ourselves. It sleeps 4, features a separate bedroom with a Queen size bed, closet, AC, a full bathroom with a nice size shower, and a foyer area that features an L shaped sofa that opens up to a sleeper. Has microwave for warming food, small size fridge, kettle, cups, plates etc. No cooktop for cooking. During your stay at the guest house, the guests in the small guest house will have access to main gate and the back yard, outdoor shower, sink, but will not have any access to the main house. Please let me know. Our neighbourhood is very quite and quaint with ample street parking. Close to all the attractions, beaches, restaurants and local shops. We have a local mini-market within walking distance for all grocery needs, spring water, gas tank for cooking and they do house deliveries for tips. To get around the area, a car is really not needed. You can easily arrive by any means of transportation and you will not need it again until it's time to leave. If you want to venture out for a few days, you could rent a car from one of the local agencies. For local outings, minibus and taxi route is very close by and affordable. Airport: Izmir: 90.0 km Railway: Airport station : 90.0 km Ferry: Izmir: 90.0 km If arriving by plane, there are shuttles to and from Cesme during summer. From the bus terminal you can take a 10 minute taxi ride to home. If by train, the best way to take it getting to the Izmir airport station first, then taking the shuttle from the airport. If by bus, depending on where you are traveling from, most major bus companies do have direct routes to Cesme. If driving, it's about an hour away from Central Izmir by taking the toll road.
