Cozy apartment for two with a beautiful patio and access to the swimming pool (in summer season) in El Paso, the "Heart" of La Palma. From where you can enjoy beautiful views and exotic sunsets, take pleasant nature walks. The house is very well located, in El Paso, the most central village on the island, from where you can walk along spectacular trails and with stunning views. It is also the ideal place to go on trips and excursions by car and return to sleep at the house. The apartment consists of a single room, with a kitchen, bedroom (with a double bed), dining room and private bathroom, which is cozily decorated and overlooks a garden where you can enjoy your breakfasts, dinners, readings and above all, moments of relaxation, and access to a swimming pool that can be enjoyed in the summer season (from November to April it will remain inactive). It has a solarium that can be used all year round with views of the sea and the mountains (the emblematic Birigoyo peak, the Tajogaite Volcano and the Bejenao mountain) from where you can you can enjoy warm and beautiful sunsets or romantic nights with a bright moon in a sky covered by stars. A portable barbecue is available for use in any part of the garden. It has the necessary equipment for cooking, bed linens, and towels. The hostel is ideal for a couple. It is integrated into the same plot of the host's house, but with completely independent access to both the apartment and its garden and pool. The property is part of a large garden or tree space with a chill-out area that can also be enjoyed and if any guest comes with a pet they will feel free and happy. They have Wi-Fi both indoors and from the garden, allowing teleworking. Mercedes, your host is ready to help and inform you about what you request: places to visit on the island, trails, transportation, events of interest, beaches, restaurants, etc. She will be resolving any need that arises and that you require. But she also knows how to stay out of the way if that's what her visitors want, allowing them to enjoy their stay in full independence, tranquility, and privacy. The house is very well located in El Paso, a town of 8,000 inhabitants. It has an area of 135.92 km² (being the largest municipality on the island of La Palma) and is located at an altitude of 644 meters above sea level. It borders all the municipalities of the island except Tazacorte. It is the most central village on the island, very close to the Caldera de Taburiente National Park and is located within the Aridane Valley, which has the best temperatures throughout the year. From the apartment, even walking, you can take routes along spectacular trails and with impressive views (Punta de los Roques, Bejenao, Route of the Volcanoes, Cumbrecita…) Some of these trails are part of the Long-Distance Trail that runs throughout the island where the famous "Transvulcania" Ultramarathon takes place. A central location is ideal for discovering the natural diversity of La Palma and is very feasible for day trips to all points of the island. Also a 10-minute walk away is the town center where you can find the town hall, post office, hypermarket, supermarket, shops, banks, pharmacy, cultural house, taxi rank, cafes, restaurants. The best way to explore and enjoy the island's beautiful corners is to rent a car. There is a public transportation service or bus that makes the main routes but it will be more limited to get to know and explore the island. The bus stop (guagua) is 10 minutes from the house. Every half hour you can take one both for Los Llanos, from where others connect with Puerto Naos or Puerto de Tazacorte, and for Santa Cruz de la Palma. Guest access The apartment has Wi-Fi from the garden and inside You will also enjoy a swimming pool in summer season (between April and October, included) with a solarium overlooking the sea and the mountains (the emblematic Birigoyo peak) from where you can enjoy warm and beautiful sunsets or romantic nights with a bright moon in a sky covered by stars. We also have a portable barbecue to install in any corner of the space. If you want, you can use the washing machine in my house.
