Step away from the hectic pace of daily life and experience a night or two in our simple but charming cabin in the woods. Set in a secluded location close to Hammervatnet, the cabin is surrounded by nature, abundant birdlife, and free-ranging sheep in the summer season. A peaceful place for those seeking nature and an authentic cabin experience. The space The cabin sleeps up to three guests. Duvets and pillows are provided, and bed linen can be rented for an additional NOK 150 per person. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and includes all necessary cookware, tableware, cutlery, and utensils for preparing meals. The cabin is heated by a wood-burning stove and has access to a traditional outdoor toilet. There is no running water or electricity in the cabin. However, a small solar power system is available for charging mobile phones and small devices. Firewood, a water container, and plenty of candles will be provided. Outside, the cabin has simple outdoor furniture and a small grill for guest use. Guests also have access to a private swimming and barbecue area nearby. A rowing boat, a tandem kayak and a canoe can be rented for an additional daily fee. Please note that boat rental is not available from March 20 to June 20 and from September 15 to November 15 due to regulations in the nature reserve. If you wish to use the wood-fired hot tub located just 10 meters from the cabin, please contact us in advance. You may choose to heat it yourself for NOK 800, or have it preheated to 25-30°C for NOK 1,000. The hot tub can be booked through the guest portal, which will be sent after booking confirmation.
