The space Each suite is adorned with limited design elements which serves to make the room feel pleasant and relieved. Guests are connected to Bali island life through portraits that highlight the local culture, terrazzo floor featuring hand weaving mat, natural timber chests, and ornamental accessories made from copper and timbers. The 6-units of pool suite villa was built entirely from local materials which used to nurture a harmony with the nature, mix contemporary tropical modern architecture blended from Western and Balinese craftsmanship to produce a unique environment rich in modern-day comforts. The unique designed was conceptually the impression of the cone form built on prism-shaped timber roof with a low tip oppositely inside relieved with a high ceiling. Each 2 units of the suite is set on a sharing pool which made with the intention that guests who came from various parts of the world could gather, talk each other and become a friend. The staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly Balinese hospitality. An experienced and knowledgeable staff is responsible for the overall operation and simply make sure you don’t lift a finger whilst on holiday. Butlers are on hand every day to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout your stay. Children Are always welcome, but not catered to; the grounds are friendly but need a little attention and the pool was designed with grown-ups in mind. Baby cots, highchairs and extra beds for children can be provided, and babysitting can be arranged with three hours’ notice. Meal Services The breakfast service can request starting from at 7am. If requested, our staff also will more than happy to serve you same light food for your lunch or dinner, serve up to 11pm. Airport Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport, is 70-minutes away by car; the staff can arrange private transfers for a maximum of four people per car for IDR450,000 each way. Local Restaurant For fine dining Indonesian style, head to Blanco Par Mandif and order a seven-, nine- or 13-course tasting menu with paired drink. Vegetarians and meat-eaters alike will find plenty of choice at bijou eatery Locavore (Jalan Dewi Sita); the five-course sharing menu is an excellent way to taste as many local dishes as possible. Open-air Il Giardino Restaurant on Jalan Kajeng dishes out classic Italian dishes, including handmade pasta; try the seafood risotto or pumpkin ravioli. Upscale Bridges serves up beautifully prepared Indonesian and western dishes. To feel ridiculously healthy (and a little bit smug) check out the tasty offerings at vegan and raw Alchemy Restaurant. Local Cafes For brunch, order eggs many ways, freshly-baked breads, fruit-filled smoothies and lychee iced tea at Folk Ubud; it’s a few minutes away from The Sender Pool Suites. Café Lotus is the place for local dishes with a side of traditional Balinese dancing. Indonesian roastery Seniman Coffee (Jl. Sriwedari No. 5) has a wide selection of single-origin coffees from across the country, Central America and Africa. The knowledgeable baristas can brew your coffee pretty much any way; if you’re in need of sustenance, too, you can’t go wrong with a decadent moka-nut waffle. Local Bars On Friday afternoons, wine bar Divine hosts regionally themed tastings with canapé pairing and live acoustic music on the terrace. Reservations are recommended for the tasting masterclasses.
