Ann is a wonderful gardener and you are most welcome to wander around, and enjoy the scenery Guest access Hotels and Cafes within an easy walk. Wineries within a short bike ride or Drive. Plenty of walks available within the town area. Some of the best Trout fishing available, in the Waitaki and Haka Rivers. In the winter, there is the local Awakino Ski field, and a 45min drive to Ohau Ski field. You can use Kurow as a base to visit the Central Otago tourist spots, without all the hassle, of crowded Tourist accommodation.
